Tom Sanders - Pastor

Pastor Tom came to Faith in July, 2004 as our Director of Growth and Renewal. His duties included creating small group ministries as well as helping Faith Lutheran Church become more visible to the un-churched of our community. Tom is a graduate of Concordia Teachers College, River Forest, IL and Concordia Theological Seminary in Springfield, IL. Prior to joining Faith, Pastor Tom served at Hope, Mt. Carmel, IL; St. Luke, Rensselaer, IN; Grace, Chicago, IL; and Trinity, Villa Park, IL

Philip McPeek - Minister of Music

Philip McPeek is a graduate student studying Music Theory at Northwestern University. While an undergraduate at Northwestern studying Music Theory and Religious Studies, Philip served for three years as the Director of Music at University Lutheran Church in Evanston, IL and recently served congregations in Crystal Lake and Mt. Prospect, IL in an interim capacity. Philip received the 2014 Edmund Perry Award for his undergraduate thesis which examined a Passion setting composed shortly after the death of J.S. Bach in Leipzig, Germany. He performs regularly as an organist and percussionist and studies organ with Margaret Kemper.

Jori Reuter - Preschool Director

Jori is the Director of Faith Lutheran Church Preschool.
Prior to working at Faith Jori supervised and instructed future Early Childhood Educators at the college level.  Prior to that she taught pre-kindergarten in the northern suburbs for students with and without special needs.
Jori has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Leadership and Advocacy from National-Louis University.
Jori and her husband, Brian, live in Palatine with their two daughters, Paige (7 years old) and Reese (5 years old).

Margie Mayfield, RN - Advocate Parish Nurse

Margie comes from a hospital background in pediatric critical care and more recently, family health in the field of public health nursing.  She served as a missionary nurse in South America for six years and continues to be involved in care/compassion ministries to the under-resourced.  Wellness, not only physical, but especially spiritual, relational and emotional, is the goal of her nursing practice.  She is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and Rio Grande Bible Institute/Language School.

Lynne Manning - Administrative Assistant

Lynne has been performing administrative functions at Faith since March of 1996. She juggles that responsibility with another part time job at the Rolling Meadows Library.  Among her duties are acting as receptionist, generating the weekly bulletin, recording all official acts, updating membership information and ordering supplies.  On top of that Lynne is always there to listen with a caring heart.  She has also enjoyed singing in the Faith Vocal Choir during holiday seasons.

Lynne and her husband, Robert, have been married for 33 years.  They live in Rolling Meadows and have three grown children.
