Where do I park?

There are parking lots immediately to the north and south of the church.  Street parking is also available on Pine, to the east of the church.[Top of Page]

How do people dress?

Most people come to church in "business casual" attire, but there is no dress code.  Come as you are … God isn't fashion conscious.[Top of Page]

What's a service like?

The service is liturgical and consists of scripture readings, hymns/songs and responsive readings and message.  For additional information see our Worship Times page.[Top of Page]

What's the music like?

Music runs the gamut from traditional hymns accompanied by organ to contemporary accompanied by guitar, piano and drums.  For additional information  see our Worship Times page.[Top of Page]

As a visitor, will I be introduced during the service?

No.  It is not our practice to have visitors stand during the service and be introduced.  However, at the beginning of the 8:30 and 11:00 services, everyone is encouraged to stand and greet one another.[Top of Page]

Are there accommodations for families with young children?

Yes.  Although parents with young children are welcome to sit anywhere in church, the last pew on each side of the sanctuary is reserved for them in case the need arises to exit in order to attend to any needs.  There is also a special area for parents and children in the upper lobby.  At both entrances to the sanctuary there are baskets with materials for use with children (to keep little hands busy).  Baby changing stations are located in various bathrooms throughout the building.

Are the facilities handicap-accessible?

Yes.  There are reserved parking spaces in the south parking lot, and a wheelchair ramp is located on the south side of the building.[Top of Page]

Are there accommodations for the hearing and visually impaired?

Yes.  Large print bulletins are available.   Unfortunately, help for the hearing impaired is not yet available.  Please ask an usher for assistance.[Top of Page]

Will I be required to give an offering?

No.  An offering plate is passed during the service, but giving is strictly voluntary.  If you are a visitor, you are our guest.[Top of Page]

Who may take Communion?

All are invited who are baptized, repentant of their sins and believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is truly present with His body and blood in the eating and drinking of bread and wine in His Supper.[Top of Page]

How do I become a member of Faith Lutheran Church?

We extend the Sacrament of Baptism to all who have not been baptized - infants, children, youth and adults.[Top of Page]

We Invite those adults who are looking for a church home to our Membership Exploration Class.  Upon Completion of this class you may join Faith in one of the following ways:

  • Rite of Confirmation - for those who have never been confirmed in the Lutheran Church.
  • Letter of Transfer - for those wishing to transfer their membership from another Lutheran congregation.
  • Reaffirmation of Faith - for those who have been confirmed in a Lutheran Church, but have not been active.[Top of Page]

How can I get connected?
