LEGO® CLUB

LEGO® CLUB invites all LEGO® builders, both children and adults. The next meeting will be on Saturday, February 11th from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

This is an intergenerational experience for children and adults to join in a morning of creativity and play. Enter the church through the doors at the top of the ramp on the south side of the church. Admission is free, though contributions of LEGO® blocks or cash donations are welcome. You do not need to be a LEGO® expert to help.  Sign-up to help once or many times.  A LEGO® Flier is available in the church office. Blood Drive

	A Blood Drive will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2012, from 7:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.

Hearing The Story from Start to Finish

	We are currently reading the Bible from cover to cover.
Each week there will be a suggested reading of Scripture.  On Sunday morning Pastor will preach on that section and will lead a Bible class between the services on the portion of the Bible we have read.  We will not be reading the whole Bible (many of the “begats,” etc. will not have to be read). For the week of February 5th, we will be considering the following verses about The Kingdoms' Fall:   Day Chapter(s)/Verse(s) My Story Pages   Monday 2 Kings 2 and 23-25 231-233   Tuesday 2 Chronicles 31 and 36 234-237   Wednesday Jeremiah 1-2 238-239   Thursday Jeremiah 4-5, 13 and 21 240-241   Friday Lamentations 1-3 and 5 Ezekiel 1-2 242-243   Saturday Ezekiel 6-7 and 36-37 244-247 If you have a Bible translation that you find readable and understandable you are all set (you will be encouraged to bring your Bible to church).  If you are looking for a new translation, we would suggest either the English Standard Version (ESV) or Today’s New International Version (TNIV).  Another translation to consider would be the New Language Translation (NLT).
	Alternatively, if you would like the readings already printed according to the plan, you may purchase a copy of The Story.  It is not necessary to have, just a convenience.  If you would like information on how to obtain a copy call the church office at (847) 253-4839 or email Pastor Tom at pastomgr@aol.com
