4th Annual Benefit Organ Concert

	Faith Community Homes invites you to an organ concert on Sunday, January 29th at 4 P.M. in the Chapel of St. John the Beloved at Luther Village, 800 W. Oakton St. in Arlington Heights

Hearing The Story from Start to Finish

	We are currently reading the Bible from cover to cover.
Each week there will be a suggested reading of Scripture.  On Sunday morning Pastor will preach on that section and will lead a Bible class between the services on the portion of the Bible we have read.  We will not be reading the whole Bible (many of the “begats,” etc. will not have to be read). For the week of January 15th, we will be considering the following verses about God's Messengers:   Day Chapter(s)/Verse(s) My Story Pages   Monday 1 Kings 17-19 203-205   Tuesday 2 Kings 2, 4 and 6 206-208   Wednesday Hosea 4-5 209-211   Thursday Hosea 8-9, 14 212-213   Friday Amos 1, 3 214-215   Saturday Amos 9 216-217 If you have a Bible translation that you find readable and understandable you are all set (you will be encouraged to bring your Bible to church).  If you are looking for a new translation, we would suggest either the English Standard Version (ESV) or Today’s New International Version (TNIV).  Another translation to consider would be the New Language Translation (NLT).
