Coming to BrightLife, July 20, 2008 - A New Earth Or An Old Lie?
| In March of this year, Oprah Winfrey introduced Eckhart Tolle to America. His book A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purposes skyrocketed to the top of the best sellers list. What is a Christian response to Tolle’s philosophy? Join us as we discuss: “What is Truth?,” “Who Is God?,” “Evil: Is It Real?,” “The Real Jesus,” and “How Do I Know the Bible Is The Book?” While we look at Tolle’s teachings in the light of the Christian Scriptures, we will also look at some other philosophies in our world today. BrightLife meets on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m., in the sanctuary. |
